Your Hair Is Such A Mess

Just take off that dress.

Haven't updated this thing in forevereverrr, but I got back from Toronto a couple of weeks ago and attention must be paid! New Years Eve was spent at Dancecave (crowd: think courtney love meets ke$ha - crackheads + tryhards) with my besties and it was so much fun just to have a small group and spend it with them.

2009 was honestly the best year of my life. I made so many new friends in both Toronto and Paris and am having some of the most amazing, life-changing moments that I've ever experienced. I love everything that I'm doing now and all of the people that I've met, I just hope that all those good times will make their way into 2010 and are even better :)

Toronto was amazing, but I'm really happy to be back in Paris. Although not much can top off our 'family xmas'.

Or the time my friend and I got kicked out of H&M for having our impromptu photoshoot... oh Toronto.

I bid you adieu (until July at least) with this lovely montage. It serves as a reminder that modeling should be left only for the professionals, i.e. girls that are not ugly.

Toronto, I love you, we belong together, etc.. but it's back to Paris with me for more cheap wine and expensive everything else.

xx,
N

Hustle Rose

You're not so nice, but sex sells so cheap.

Que du beau monde...

I'm completely in love with this video mix of perfume advertisements from the past couple of seasons. So. Hot.

Terminally Chill

City of Lights... I'll be leaving you soon (for a hot second!).

I cannot believe that I've been living here for three months already, it's so insane. I'll be going back to Toronto in one (!) week for new years and to see my friends/fam for a bit which should be super fun, but at the same time I don't really know how to 'feel' about it.

I've just gotten so used to my life here, living alone for the first time, having 'responsibility' and just doing my own thing without worrying about too much other than finishing the endless assignments that Sciences Po decides to throw my way. I've met so many amazing people and I'm so thankful to be staying another semester. I can't imagine having to leave in January like some of my friends here.

It's going to be so hard to say goodbye to them, because as much fun as we've all had together and even though we might visit each other in our respective countries one day, it'll never be the same.

So instead I'm just not going to think about it until that moment comes. In the mean time, I just want to have as much fun as I can, because really, when else am I going to be 20 and living in the most amazing city in the world again?!

We'll always have Paris...

And Photo Booth.

See you bitches back in Paris January 8th!

All photo cred. at the fierce/flawless/totes.platons Dave Chen. Kinda cheesed they didn't upload properly (vair grainy) but such is life. Peep his blog @ http://ex-fandes60s.blogspot.com/

Streets of Paris

C'est la folle!

Absolutely LOVE these concerts a emporter from Phoenix via la blogotheque. Wish I was there to see it in person, but I seeing them live at le Zénith de Paris back in October was all sorts of amazing in itself.

'1901' was definitely one of my 'songs of the summer' and stands as one of those songs that will always remind you of one special moment - for me it was exploring the streets of Paris early September when I first arrived.

Though I've been a fan of Phoenix for a while now, the song just means so much more to me now that I have such a happy and exciting memory to associate it with.

"1901"

"Long Distance Call"

"Lizstomania/ One Time Too Many"

Très jolie spontanéité, belle ambiance légère! Une performance originale et réussie, qui tient compte d’un des plus gros désirs du public : sentir un vrai contact avec les artistes. Belle initiative et bravo :)
Bisss!

Eyes Lit, I Want Short Breaths

What's better than dressing up like a complete idiot with your friends and taking a bottle of Absolut Pear to the face? Doing so in PARIS!

Friday night was Halloween Eve and there's really no better way to celebrate than by gathering together, bringing a costume, a bottle and RAGING!

The party, of course, wouldn't be the same without some sort of creative motif; enter cheesy 'scary'-themed snacks. Not included in this shot was the 'Bloody Eyeball Poison' (vodka + raspberry/cran. juice + white grapes) - a crowd favourite.

My Norwegian friend showed up with some boys from the Norwegian soccer team. Dressed, of course, as the Al Qaeda. A massive fail, but awesome for the lols.

Drunk stumbling over my terrace & the roof.

Putting my makeup artist skills to the test - looking fine, amirite?

The night continued on @ Le Bataclan featuring Miss Kittin.

Ended the 'night' around 9:30am the next morning - DISASTER! Love it all so hard.

Good night, sweet prince.

Hope you all had a happy halloween!

Amazing. A perfect summary of all things French pop culture.

Time's No Matter, I'm On Fire.

On this playground, love.

How much do I LOVE when the YYZ crew makes its way to CDG? A LOT! Madness ensued last weekend when two of my friends from Toronto studying abroad came to play. Great times but the weather was definitely not our friend - fall is here my friends! Time to bust out those trench/pea coats, leather jackets, and woolen berets!

After (a lot) of pre-drinking chez moi we made our way to Le Showcase. Located under the Pont Alexandre III in the 8é, Showcase is pretty much 'the' place to be seen in Paris if you're a gold diggin' hoe (holla!).

No but, the venue itself was incredible, literally located under the bridge with a unique interior concept filled with arches and cleverly placed light installations.

And it's a good thing we pre-drank too -- entrance on a weekend is 15€ and a vodka soda will run you 12€!

Either way, if you manage to get hit on by some randoms who have VIP, you'll have the drinks situation sorted out (your pride, on the other hand, won't be as easy to win back, but such is life).

Why we went back again the second time? A long story involving a French stalker, a billionaire, and a heart-shaped key chain (no lie). Photographic evidence of the key chain only to protect the identities of the innocent very guilty.

It was still mad fun though, vintage shopping the next day + watching the girls try to shove all their shit into one suitcase = priceless memories :)

Until next time, bitches,

Me & Feadz On A Misssssion

And we're starving to fly.

September/October Roundup, cheap wine + ed banger = a fucking rad time, every time.

Documented raging commenced with WARP/ED which was held @ Grande halle de La Villette and included lineups from WARP and Ed Banger record labels. INSANITY!

Can you spot us?!?

Rustie

Sebastian

Busy P (lookin' fly as hale, obvs.)

The "Smoking Section". I've never seen so many Marlboro addicts in one place in my life. Love it.

By the end of the night (I should say morning) we literally couldn't walk, and finding a cab was a nightmare, esp. when the 50+ French driver decides to hit on your friend, gives her his number and proceeds to follow you home. No but for real though. "Gerrard" gave her a call a week after asking her if he could "party" with her (!!!) This shit is too good to make up!

ONWARDS!
Digitalism and Ed Banger @ Paris Social Club were completely RIDICULOUS!

Both nights were all sorts of awesome but I was SUPER cheesed to find out upon arrival to Club75 that Xavier de Rosnay (Justice) was "sick" and couldn't come. BALLS. But fuck that noise.

I'm not having any of the paparazzi shit in this picture.

LOVE playing Where's Waldo in crowd shots like this, especially when I discover how (very) attractive I look.

Ahh alcohol... Need to focus more on studying and less on partying I think.. Until then!

Minnie Mouse & Marlboros.

So I'm officially no longer a virgin.
A Disneyland virgin of course! (Jeez, get your heads out of the gutter! -- because let's be serious, that ship set sail a while back).

It was slightly embarrassing how excited I was when my friends asked me to go on a little rendezvous with Mickey Mouse @ EuroDisney in Paris. And by slightly embarrassing, I mean completely as is evident in these pictures in front of the gates.

I wasn't alone though, the rest of my friends hardly managed to contain themselves either.

Also, I'd like to take a moment to reflect on how EUROTRASH this place is! Only in EuroDisney can you smoke whilst waiting to board the Small World boat and not be looked at with shame and disgust by toddlers and their parents. LOVES IT.

Way too many hats everywhere, you can't even blame us, they were basically asking for it.

The PARADE! I honestly felt like I was six again, insanity! The best part was of course when Ariel the Little Mermaid flipped everyone in the park off <3

So anyways, cheesy pictures ensued as they would when one visits such a magical land of wonder, and I was actually surprised at how FUN it all was! I mean, I always thought Disneyland/world was for Americans & tourists wasting their time in either California or Florida, but the rides were so awesome and the atmosphere just makes you feel like a kid again.

Mickey Mouse shaped pizza, obvs.

Small World Racial Stereotypes: From left to right, Ecuador, China, Nicaragua, Norway.

Also my first time on an upside down rollercoaster! SO MUCH FUN! I can't believe I was so hurting before and too scared, I think I went on Space Mountain 5 times! It's a shame you can't see how graceful and attractive I look in this photo.

To top it all off, great times at Disney were then followed by even greater sangrias in the 6é.

mmm mmm mmm @ everything! RAD day :)
